I have owned my x-box 360 for maybe a year and a half now and I love the thing. I sometimes wish I had gotten the elite simply because it has a bigger drive and I purchase a lot of my games on x-box live. If you buy all your games on disk there is no need to get the elite or buy an extra drive.
If you love to play first person shooters while experiencing amazing picture and flat out stunning sound you need look no further than the Microsoft x-box 360. How ever the x-box 360 is not for everyone; yeah, it is awesome for first person shooters and stuff in that genre but if you love race game`s and other things like that go with another console because the x box just can not measure up in genres other that first person shooters. I have friends that disagree and say the x-box 360 is the best all around console but this is some thing you need to judge for your self.
The user interface on the x-box 360 is incredibly user friendly. Setting up your x-box live can be a little hard unless you buy the wireless adapter (not worth it, at all). The user interface is customizable to your favorite theme`s and colors and you can even play music on it via the hard drive, cd, mp3 player or even live stream from your windows based pc.
If you buy it ALWAYS keep it horizontal because if not the siltiest bump will allow your disk to hit the fan resulting in it being rendered un-readable.
