Pros: better lcd screens, long batter life, sexy design, excellent games library
Cons: broken hinge, d-pad smaller, harder to hold
The Bottom Line: The DS Lite is an amazing handheld and possibly the best handheld ever next to the original Game Boy. Get it.

Pros: sleek, compact, portable, different colors

The Bottom Line: The Nintendo DS Lite is a wonderful improvement upon the original and innovative DS. It is compact, sleek, lighter, and brighter.

Pros: Lightweight, modern, updated, fun
Cons: Too much like the old one, just updated features.
The Bottom Line: This is a great update, but not an entirely different system. If you are bored with the old one, this may refresh your faith in DS! Great wireless toy!

Pros: Brilliantly Lit Screens, Great Line-up of Games, Compelling Software on the Way, Dual Screen Setup
Cons: Lame Friend Codes Online Interface, Speakers are not Loud Enough
The Bottom Line: There's No Reason to Wait Anymore; The DS Lite Is Completely Worth It.

Pros: Bright, Loud, great navigation with stylus pens
Cons: Can't do multi play with previous gameboy.
The Bottom Line: Have more flexibility if game playing especially with stylus pen playing.

Pros: A smaller version of a great portable system.
Cons: Speakers are not the best, it is worth more money then the older one.
The Bottom Line: If your job or school sucks then maybe a new DS will spice things up?

Pros: The DS is easy to hold, has long battery life and tons of good games!
Cons: Button placement could have been better.
The Bottom Line: A innovative console with tons of solid games from a proven giant of the gaming industry. You'd be crazy not to own one.

Pros: Touchscreen, Pick up & Play, Game Library, Graphics, Battery Life, Wireless, Price
Cons: Durability if it gets dropped so probably not for the very youngest gamers
The Bottom Line: I'd buy another one in a heartbeat (and I have)!
I just purchased one for my 29 yr old sister with cancer for those long chemo appointments.

Pros: +brighter
+new design
+many good titles
+backwards capability for gba game
+wi-fi
Cons: -can't play old gameboy games
-may be too different for some people
The Bottom Line: The DS offers many great titles. The touch screen innovates gameplay.The wi-fi takes it up a notch allowing you to play with other DS owners.

Pros: Better battery life, better and brighter screens, better everything else.
Cons: Friend codes, no gameboy advance multiplayer or backwards compatibility with older gb games.
The Bottom Line: The Nintendo DS Lite offers a very good gaming value for your money, and games are plentiful and inexpensive, and FUN!
