Pros: Many games to choose from, durable, fun, stylus is neat, and design.
Cons: Not everyone has one!
The bottom line: If there was ever such a thing as fun in a box, this would be it!

After owning just about every portable gaming system since the original Nintendo Gameboy, I decided to pick up the Gameboy DS Lite. I wanted either a Sony PSP or a Nintendo DS Lite, with price not being the issue. I owned a Sony PSP when itfirst came out for about 1 day, but I sold it because I needed to pay off a credit card so I didn't have any experience with the Sony PSP.
What brought me to choose the Nintendo DS Lite over the Sony PSP was the variety of games available for the console. To be honest, the many commercials had a thing or two to do with my decisions as well. I like brain challenging games and the DS Lite had many so it was an easy choice to pick the DS Lite over the PSP even though the PSP had better graphics.
Brain Age and Brain Age 2 were the first two games I bought, and my oh my, these games are fun! The many challenges available on these games keeps my mind working and working in an absolutely fun way. The stylus makes this console truely unique because i've never seen such a portable gaming system like this. The stylus can also be replaced so that's a good thing.
The durability of the Nintendo DS Lite is awesome. I've dropped mine so many times yet no major damage done to it except for a few minor scratches that are to be expected from being dropped.
Whether it's christmas time or not, everyone needs a little fun in life and I highly recommend that everyone should treat themselves by buying a Nintendo DS Lite because it is fun, fun, and fun! You will not be disappointed and there are only too many games too choose from! The fun seems endless.
