Gamebody Advance SP!
Full review
I have always been a major video game lover, and I would never miss out on some sort of new gaming device. Even today I still love playing my
Nintendo and
Gameboy. I had a good feeling that the game systems that are coming out day after day were only going to improve. When I first heard about the extremely popular
PSP, I was very excited.
It seemed that around one big chunk of time, all of these gaming devices were being manufactured, such as
Gameboy Advance SP and
Nintendo DS. I heard that the features of the
PSP were overall better than the other gaming systems, and I just LOVED
Playstation. So I ended up to spend somewhat of an amplitude of my hard-earned cash to buy the so-called "wonderful" and popular gaming system, the Playstation Portable.
HOW I GOT IT:
Well, if you have been checking up on the prices of this bad boy, you'd definitely know that it probably isn't going to be easy getting to it, unless you have truly saved up your allowance for an extended amount of time. My friend let me borrow it for a couple weeks, and what did I do constantly for those weeks that I borrowed it? I sat on my couch and played it 24/7. I was hooked. In fact, I couldn't go a day without playing it. I couldn't even imagine how I could stand one day without it. I had horrifying nightmares (at least in my daydreams) about the time that my friend asked to take it back. Well, I was in for a behemothic bewilderment.
The next time my friend and I had visited, my friend explained to me that he wanted to become a magician. He stated that if I taught him a good bag of card magic tricks, he would give me the fabulous gaming system for $20. My mind went blank, and my fingers and toes felt as if they had melted. I ran to my room, grabbed twenty bucks and a deck of cards, and came back outside. As you would easily predict, I thoroughly taught my friend some magic tricks and handed over the twenty dollars. The magnificent gaming system was then mine! I felt so energetic and gleeful! YES!
WHAT ARE THOSE "AMAZING FEATURES"?
Ahh...You wish to know the many features of the mighty
PSP? Let's just say there are a LOT. You would not expect this from something that you can actually place in your pocket, but
you can watch movies on it! Now is that shocking or what? Plus, most popular flicks that have been released around these days such as
Dodgeball and
Hitch, are available for a cheap price! The quality of the movie is good, but you can tell that the PSP wasn't totally meant for watching movies..
Ok, say you don't care about movies and you would neglect that feature. How about the fact that there are hundreds of interesting and thrilling games that you can play on it? Sports, adventure, action...These are only a few of the admirable genres of the games that are made for the PSP. Hey, and it doesn't use up much battery power at all.
You can crank up the volume to its highest, which is
very loud, at least for something that you can shove down in your pocket! It is very clear, and it seems as if you are in the game! Aw come on, don't start complaining about how you've always liked playing video games on a TV screen. You may not like small screens, but once you begin to play the
PSP's 4.3 inch screen, you will change your mind. As I began to play the PSP, I forget about what room I am in and if I had brushed my teeth or eaten breakfast yet, which may seem like a bad thing, but you'll think that it is worth it when you discover how great this system is. Just don't get too distracted by all of those outstanding features, and you'll be ok!
What is truly unbelievable is that the PSP includes all of that stuff plus some. It works as a MP3 player as well! So if you look at the price and ponder over the fact whether it is worth that much money, be sure you remember that it is. There are 16.8 million colors that shine their way into your view as you play this console. However, if you play it from an angle, it may look a little strange and you won't get the view that you wanted. You must look at the screen straight on in order to view it with all of the colorful graphics in the movie or game.
TAKING CARE OF YOUR PSP:
Now here is a part that you people may want to pay close attention to. If you want to, you can buy a case for your PSP to protect it from who knows what kind of dangers, but if you don't, that is fine. Make sure that you cleanse the screen very well about every month, and of course, don't rub the screen too hard with the cloth or it may end up severely damaging it.
When you are not playing your PSP, be sure to store it in a safe place where no sort of hazardous events could happen to it. My preference is to put it in a drawer in which that is the only thing i keep in it.
Of course, keep it away from any pets of yours, and don't let them lick it or anything. Unfortunately, the screen can easily be scratched, so keep that in mind as well. Do not leave your PSP in bright sunlight or the screen can/will get damaged. The best action to take is to read the manual that comes with the PSP along with many other things, and carefully read the booklet so you don't read over any extremely important information.
DIFFICULTY OF USE:
Lucky for you, the PSP is just as easy to operate as any of the ordinary pocket gaming consoles. In fact, with the perfect length of the PSP, it seems to be made just for the video game loving hands of yours. The buttons are convenient for your fingers to reach, which I suppose helps you out a bit.
WORTH IT?
Well, if you've read about all of the astonishing features just now, you would have most likely made up your mind on whether you're buying it or not. I mean, what is there to lose? To clarify things, you can listen to music, watch movies, and most importantly, play challenging $25-$40 games while on the road, or at home. If you may think that nothing can top your precious Gameboy Advance SP or Nintendo DS, try this magnificent console out today (or when you get enough money), and you will not be disappointed.
